Any ideas what this stopwatch might have been used for? I was thinking torpedo timer, but it doesn't look like any I have seen through a Google search. It seems to be manufactured like a scientific instrument with blued metal components, brass parts, and what appears to be a heavy duty nickel plated case. I am assuming it is a period piece, but I really have no idea. Any assistance in identifying it is appreciated!
