Can anybody tell me if this is an Original Junker Pilots Badge. I was told that there are more copies out there then good ones.

I strongly suspect that this is a cast copy from an original. Many things do not appear correct but it clearly has many characteristics of a period Juncker. This could be decided conclusively in hand in a few seconds or if weighed.Comment

Hi Cliff,
The badge is a definite cast copy of an original badge. The hardware is all incorrect (a hand inspection will show a hinge "stump" onto which this hinge sits) and there is a cast "crack" (damage to the original badge - see attached) which is characteristic of this fake. It is also slightly smaller than an original.
