    EKI 1914 early production S-W

I'm proud to sharing with you my EKI 1914 made during the early WWI era.

It's made by S-W Berlin and the core is casted, but unfortunally is cracked.

Is for me unknown the 2 punched behind the pin: It could be a lot or a progressive production number ?

If someone have more info about this: thanks.

Tahts seriously a very nice looking piece with tons of character! IMO the cracks just add some charisma to it

Nice cross Max. I like the cracked core. It gives it character.
We've seen numbers under the pins before. We're not exactly sure
why but most believe that it is some for of quality control number.

        Thanks guys.

@ gregM: never considered a quality control number, pheraps of the inspector like a Waffenamt above a firearms.
        Thanks for input my friend

I like a cross that shows its age! I have a cracked second class and it's one of my favorites. Nice cross!
