I’m really surprised that it’s a fake it comes from a very reputable dealer.
This cross will be returned to dealer at the next show

John as said, crown is classic fake, look up muffin crown. TPK

No wonder I thought the crown was so unique.

The cross is a bad cast, very clearly seen on the reverse. The pin, hinge and catch are also obviously cast. Besides the "muffin" crown, this should have been a dead give-away to the dealer selling this piece of junk. it doesn't say much for the dealer or his knowledge.

I agree .....a terrible fake.....but I want to point out that there is a crown from Boerger & CO whose looks like this crown!

Agree that there are similar crowns but for me when I look I see those big blobs I think fake. Thanks for sharing the Boerger one. TPK
