    I’m not an expert on EKs, but I like them both as far as execution goes, look period.

      I'm going to play devil's advocate here.

      I don't like them. They were both made with the same materials
      and by the same hand yet they are from award periods that are
      50+ years apart. I think they are someone's home craft project.

        I've share my concerns with Greg. Besides, I've never seen pictures (or heard of) of a cloth 1870 EK1. The original cloth 1813 EK1 looks very different.

          I've only ever seen a 1914 that was supposedly original.
          It didn't look very much like these at all.

                Agreed, every time I see paper backing with 'period correct' script, my faker radar comes out.
