    Have You ever seen one of these arm-badges made up like this?

    I'd say it's some sort of sweetheart pin. It was never worn like this as a Freikorps Epp badge.

      Thanks for Your opinion! You may be right, but it's nontheless an d undoubtfully an original badge and looks rather nice in it's gold-coating.

        Can you show a side view of this badge? Thus far it looks like a cast copy of Epp arm shield, to be honest.

          No. The badge is "hohl verbödet" and gilt, that is the reason for a "weak" look.

            Hmmm...ok. But what is this (marked in red)? Never seen anything like this on original badges.

              I agree that it's cast from an original badge. But, it's still possible that it was a brooch or sweetheart pin from the period.

              In any case, it has no military application and it's not something that I would want in my collection.

                Can't but agree, it's still might be a period piece, but we need to find more info on it to prove it.
