Austrian helmet..your help please

I've had this helmet for 40 years but have not quite figured out the liner. Has had a lot of work and would appreciate hearing from those who know exactly what it is.

I think the liner is original, probably a pad has been put back and repaired, but it's original first war

Also think, that one pad has been removed, and later repaired and put back.
I saw some (latewar?) Austro-Hungarian helmets, where the cloth on the inner side of the pad was typical civil cloth, like in your helmet.
