Unusual German badge Id please

I just acquired this badge and wondered if anyone can help identify it please!

some sort of auto club. It's not that well made. So, the letters are hard to read. The first letter looks like a G. The 2nd and third are A and C, I think. So, something...Auto Club.

That makes sense! The three initials also appear to me to be cast in English Gothic or Blackletter font, though if this is/was a piece made in Germany, wouldn't the letters be represented in Fraktur schrift?

Chay, can you tell us why you believe this piece to be "German" in the first place?
