Hello, am seeking info about this pin... wasn't sure, thought maybe frikorps era? Any/all opinions appreciated

Not Freikorps. Might not even be German. Since the pin lacks the usual knurling, it could be modern.

Thanks for the opinion. Definitely looks very old in hand, I do not think modern- and I've seen some straight stickpins...

doesn't look like anything new.. Nice look to the skull. Could be German, Italian, from Baltics, or....
For the hell of it do a check on the skulls material. Its either zinc, silver, brass alloy.
Clear shot would be nice to see...

Well, definitely not Freikorps. Maybe just a generic skull pin. Skulls were a popular motif for lots of German organizations; military, paramilitary and civilian.

It could also possibly be Italian.
