This one looks pretty good to me but I don't have much to compare to- is this a genuine example?

Given that these are heavily faked and to a very high quality, it's very difficult to say whether it's real or not. I don't like the suspension ring. It seems a little thin. The obverse looks like it was chemically oxidized. It might be an Alexander Chichalov copy.

The ribbon seems promising, though.

Sorry, I missed this thread being on vacation. The medal looks like the 2nd known type which is highly questionable. Some ppl say it's a French made medal, but no one can prove it.
Anyway, you can't meet these medals in groups or on medal bars.
