German flag,original??

Hi guys i came across this little flag last week And i would like To know If it seems like an original period flag. Any opinions welcome Thanks in advance

Looks ok, but probably not military. It could be simply a patriotic or carried by some youth group like Jugendwehr, Wandervogel or Pfadfinder.

Will put it next week, i dont have one here. Then i let you know If it glows ir not. The cloth looks really old but I dont have real knowledge in these kind of items
