Too many copies of these that are SO good...think this one is ok, but need some expertise...

Looks ok to me.
Don't call it the Schlesien Medal, as there is a Schlesien Medal and this isn't it.

Either call it by its popular name: Schlesien Adler II Stufe (Silesian Eagle 2nd grade) or more officially, the Schlesische Bewährungsabzeichen II Stufe (Silesian Defence Badge 2nd grade).

Hi Pink

I was looking at that one myself...I agree with Brian, nice original oxidized brass SE II attributed to Deumer (IMO). Not so sure about the ribbon though: maybe its just something about the picture but I cant say I'm very comfortable with (what looks like) a white edge running down on the right side. I've attached a few picts with details of the ribbon for comparison

I think the ribbon is likely a modern replacement.

Thanks all...my thoughts as wasn't sure about the ribbon, but a good medal so I can live with getting a ribbon down the road...
