I have this German Freikorps hlmet with this insignia painted on the side. Can anybody ID the Unit for me.

There probably are photos of this type of helmet being worn by Grenzschutz Ost troops. But, I haven't seen one.

Still, I'm confident that the helmet insignia is genuine and is Grenzschutz Ost as other helmets like this have appeared in the past. Herman Historica had a similar one up for auction in recent years, and it was identified in the same way.

It does look like the helmet from HH.. I have some photos of it but not on this machine.
