Breast star ID please

Hi Guys

I have seen this for sale and am puzzled as to what it might be. It resembles the Malaquet star but has a red eagle and no swords. Seems to be a genuine Meybauer product also as the star is the same design they used on the Tamara Order.

Any ideas much appreciated

Nothing to do with the Freikorps.

It's the order of the Red Eagle 1st class, but not nearly of Imperial era quality. It could be a 1920s era wearer's copy or even theatrical.

I would post on the Imperial forum to see what others might say. If you're a member of GMIC, I'd post it in the Imperial section as there are many more knowledgeable people on that forum than on the Imperial forum here.
