636 on the document wim on the badge 861
The photo is the doc holder. The badge doc numbers are different but came together. My thoughts are that badges got swopped about for some reason.
It would be very interesting if 636 and 861 came from the same area
The same source has all the RAD items and uniform photo albums
The SA dagger I posted in edged weapons is also from this same grouping

      Any info wim be great.

              Chris,

where can I find the number 636 with the document you send me. I do not see it!

Number 861 must have been granted between March 31 and June 30, 1933. The number not even was listed when the numbers 855 through 880 were published on July 9, 1933.
The document is dated October 1932.

Full update on findings but shall we say it all fits and established reason why badge number different

Firstly a big thank you to wilhelm saris for his outstanding detective work and assistance

Ok the original badge 636 which the document is associated with was reported lost and if found should be returned. Please see attached document proof
So a replacement would of been issued and there is no reason not to say that the badge that came with this document is actually the replacement badge.

Was glad I could help, Chris!
It was a lot of searching through my material.
I once had a revised article about the badge and documents for the Military Advisor (spring 1996, so many years ago).
