Any info on the back?
Feels more like POW's judging by their clothing. No belts or equipment, and some of the shoes look like homemade jobs.

agree POW. a pretty sorry lot to be Freikorps. You need to understand that the Freikorps were not a bunch of slovenly cowboys wearing whatever they felt like. Most units were extensions of the regular army, highly disciplined and often with pretty strict regulations about uniforms and general appearance.
