Not Freikorps. Fake Russian White Army Cossack cross, I believe. or something like that.

I don't think its a fake, its well made has good old patina on it and maybe its from Russia but they would have used Cyrillic script for the date i presume. Have never seen one before and i know there are good faked copies of badges but i am almost 99% sure its genuine but only want to know where it comes from.

I remember what it is now. It's the Polish Death's Head Hussars Cross from the Polish-Russian War issued in 1921. There are lots of high quality fakes of this cross around, as genuine one's are quite rare. One's identical to yours are on eBay every week. I stand by what I said. I think it's a fake and a rather poor fake. The skull is really badly done. Compare it to this version with swords, which is much better quality than yours, but still may be a fake, as well. Polish enameled badges are a minefield as fantastic quality fakes have been around since at least the 70s and probably earlier.

My opinion of the badge that started this thread is unchanged, but I reckon there were some of these badges issued by the Poles, ie. Polish-Bolshevik war:
