Braunschweig unknown badge Weiamr period

Here is an interesting unknown cap badge from Braunschweig. It is identical (same size, flags etc.) to the cap badge, which was used by early members of the Stahlhelmbund in Braunschweig.

The only difference? There is no steel helmet on the badge. Over the flags you can find a kind of swastika. Looks like a sun wheel.

an oval badge with steel-helmet. But you do not say a thing about the swastika included with the badge from Sergeant 08.
