Picked up today in a small grouping,any one ID the sleeve badges.John

Not Freikorps. Likely some 1920s paramilitary group. But, I don't know which one.

Can you scan a close-up of the badges?

Most interesting photograph!! Would like to know what organization this is and see (as asked for) an enlargement for the insignia. It is obvious there still are organizations "we" do not know about the slightest!

The upper insignia, looks like an edged triangle with two pips and so could be a sort of ranking insignia. The round patch, anyway a look-a-like, was worn by the Waffen-SS during the war. I cannot remember for what it was meant. The shown photo must be dated between 1925-1932 or so!

This badge was not round, but a diamond shaped one (as far as I can remember).

The triangle seems a sort of ranking-insignia. Have checked my material, but no clue!
