Help with translation on medal

I've been having some difficulty getting an accurate translation of the reverse. I'd rarely appreciate any help with it. The medal is fairly large weighing 3 ounces. It's marked silber 935. Thanks!

You can do this yourself with google translate...that's how non englsih speaking mebers translate discussionsalthough asometimes they dont always understand.....but basicly its an award iron order for a berlin shooting organization dated at the bottom...nice find....(if it is yours) .

It translates as "Honor Decoration", not "iron order". 'Ehren' means 'Honor' and 'Orden' is a generic word for orders, decorations and medals. But in this case, I think 'decoration' is more appropriate. 'Order' implies a knightly order, which this clearly is not.

I would translate "für den jeweiligen I. Bundes-Vorsteher" as "for the Association President". So, it was given to the president of the Berlin Shooting Assoc. "in faithful Comradeship" (treuer Kameradschaft) from the Barnimer Shooting Association.

So, altogether it translates basically as:

Honor Decoration
for the President
of the the Berlin Shooting Association
in faithful comradeship
inscribed by
the Barnimer Shooting Association
28th June 1925


By the way, Google translator is crap.

Babylon is far superior. But with all of these translators, if you don't have a basic knowledge of the language and its structure, you're bound to get some weird interpretations and meanings.

And that means in my opinion, that this is the only existing cross, lent to different presidents.
Founded (given first) on 28.VI.1925, given to the acting president, and later given to the successors as acting president.

jeweiligen means respective. So, your translation makes more sense.

gew. v. (gewidmet von) should more accurately be "dedicated on" rather than founded on. But, that's maybe being a bit nit-picky.
