    MWH Badge Fake Verification

I'm about 99% sure this is the usual fake. But, as it's blackened, while the fakes normally aren't, I thought I would ask for opinions from those who actually own a real example of this badge.

The black is better than on other fakes.

You are right, no original. Nose, teeth and other details are not correct.

      Thanks. That's what I thought.

One of these days, I'll find one (since you're not looking now).

                Thanks for the link!

The one in the link has the holes punched in different places then the other ones mention here.

I'm assuming if you're saying expensive, then it's around 800+ Euros.

I did a comparison showing the one in von Salomon compared with other genuine examples that have appeared on forums over the last few years, just for reference, so that people can see several good ones side-by-side.

Don D.'s is the 1st type and von Salomon, Lumsden and Tony & Kaiser show the 2nd type with the sewing holes at the top of the skull, which I suspect came about because the top of the skull, not being sewn down probably kept getting caught on things.

Common fake that's been around for at least 30 years.

This is the badge offered by Weitze for 350 Euro, isn't it?

Weitze knows it's a fake. Otherwise it would be 700 Euros.
