    rare 1919 enjoy

    ok guys my new baby has arrived

    a nice very rare badge

    after having nearly lost all my collection in the past its a wonderful feeling to be back on top with it and this addition just proves never give up and enjoy what you enjoy

    new finds like this just make life exciting

    wow. early, early, early.

    With the date, 1.4.1919, this was certainly when the Stahlhelm was technically a Freikorps unit, serving as a staff headquaters guard during the Spartacist uprising in Berlin.

    very nice badge.

        Congrats on this amazing find an good to see you're back to collecting these again, although i thought you got the rest of the series back from Mark too a while ago?

        Btw, this is the one from Bruno Kubatschk?


        Im still looking for a nice 1919 like this, will be a long search.

          Congratulations Chris, this is a nice item from the GrĂ¼nder Gau, nicely engraved.
          Now a 1918 version. Practically all of these 1918-men were from the Einwohnerwehr, Zeitfreiwilligen Bataillon Magdeburg.

            yes I know very rare and all your replies very welcome and I am learning more about this badge every hour now

            the 1918 is the holy grail as we all know, one day

            gaston I got some of my badges back but not the ones I am now replacing.
