Maletese Cross pin Freikorps?

I have had this for a while and thought it was possible a St. Johnitter order, but in showing around at the SoS I kept hearing "Freikorps" but no one knew exactly what. Any of you FK guys know what it may be? Pretty high quality and the center piece looks like rose gold.

It is also engraved on the reverse.

You're wrong. That cross in the photos is black enamel and is the Freikorps von Randow Cross. I already said that the cross here is NOT Freikorps. My best guess is that it's some sort of fraternal society cross. The Maltese cross in various forms was and still is used by a wide variety of non-military organizations throughout Europe.
