Not an expert so wait for more knowledgeable responses but I'm a big fan of SEs. To me your example looks like the same design as this 2nd class non-magnetic, hollow stamped specimen with painted crescent & bandeau devices I picked up years ago. Dont know if its true or relevant but seller told me this piece was removed from a Deumer souvenir board ???

More recenty I picked up this solid back tombac first class with rivetted devices that also seem to have the same die/design so whoever the maker(s) may be, yours is a nice piece that conforms to known types

It's currently on ebay. Definitely real and a 1921 period conversion. IMHO these are much better than the gaudy enamel ones favored by most collectors, as they were actually awarded and worn during the Freikorps period.

I've been outbid on this one. But, I'm still very interested.
