    Austrin medal interwars

    Hi to all! Please help me to identify this miniature medal, all I know is it from Austria, made in 800 silver & enamel in Wiena, I guess is an award to any civil service 'Fur treue Verdienste' can be translated to: 'For loyal service', any opinion welcome

        I tried to find out when I saw this interesting silver-piece first, but unfortunately couldn't find it too, sorry!

            Very likely! And I think correct translation for "Verdienst" is not service, but merit. Service is "Dienst".

              Thanks for the replies, so you think it's related to this organization, very interesting! I understand is given for merits in scientific investigation? what do you think the letters K.D. of the inscription means? thanks again for helping
