    Freikorps EPP--possible new fake alert

    Hi guys,
    Just wanted to warn you about possible new fake on a market-Medaille Radfahr- Kompanie 41 v.EPP. There were 2 of them sold recently on ebay in one month, and another is for sale at the moment, this time together with some documents.
    Besides the fact that we see them too often, it does not really look like the original one. Here is one of these questionable items.

      rather than a cast of an original, it looks like a new strike.

        When I got home today, I checked and this is definitely a new strike. The type-face on the reverse is completely wrong and there are major differences with the helmet and head on the obverse. The finish is also wrong and you can visibly see the chemical oxidization. If I remember, the other one that sold was a polished copper piece and was completely differrent from this fake and known originals. So, that's at least 2 new die-strikes of this medal out there.
