Stick pin Silesian Eagle

Here is a recent ebay purchase, the style is that of the Silesian Eagle but with the head facing the other way I would guess that this was the polish-czech varient.......

I don't know what this is specifically for. But, it is just the coat of arms of Silesia and has nothing to do with the Silesian Eagle award or anything to do with the Freikorps. It could be German, Polish or Austrian, for that matter.

I think similar stick pins were used by German refugees, who had to leave Silesia.

They showed with such stick pins, I'm from Schlesien!

Just a thought, with the German maker marks could it be for ethnic Germans displaced after 1945.....?
