Looks like something Mrs. Timo would love. I would say it is Nordic Revival jewelry.

I'd agree. The interlocking motif is very Celtic or Norse.

I agree....but still a nice pin...Sometimes they made copies of pins from museums , and sold them , usually those types are marked on the back...but i'd say this is 20's or 30's and may still be silver....not everything made at that time was marked. Nice patina, and I think the horse motif is correct. Would look good on a cashmiere jacket. Still worth 30 to 50. to the right person.

I think this is Arts and Crafts/Art Nouveau/Jugendstil and dates from 1890-1920. it is a recreation of a Celt or Anglo-Norse design characterized by mirror imagery and repeat patterns, often showing animals biting each other, a snake biting its own tail etc.

During the Arts and Crafts movement in the US and the Art Nouveau/Jugendstil movement in England and Europe, there was a revival of this style.

This copper brooch is likely a copy of an historic artifact and has been chemically aged with verdigris to give it an authentic look. It could well have come out of the gift shop at the British Museum.

I've attached a couple of similar Celt style designs for comparison.
