    Jungdeutscher Orden Marine?

I know, that many organizations like Wehrwolf, RFB in the Weimarer Republik had an own Marine section.

Can anybody tell me, if the Jungdeutscher Orden had a Marineabteilung, too?

Who has ever seen the stick pin with the ship?

    Comments, thoughts?

        yes. probably rare.

There was a marine wing of the Deutscher Jugendbund and also the Pfadfinderen before and during the war.

So, it makes sense that the JDO had a marine wing as well.

I think there's a postcard for sale on German eBay at the moment of the some Marine Youth Group. Maybe, there's a clue there?

The problem is, up to now I did not find a source, which definitely confirmed the existence of JDO Marine. I know Marine wings in most organizations in the Weimarer Reupublik had normally only a few members. That's the reason why it is not easy to find such pieces or informations about the Marine theme.

These unknown pieces show us, the Jungdeutsche Orden had more than the known membership badges.

It is very huge badge (6 cm) from the Jungdeutsche Bruderschaft in Eisleben with a pin system on the back. Perhaps a badge for a special service?

In the meantime I think, the different local groups of the JDO had very individual badges in the different German regions.

                          Some kinds of Wimpel.

But what is the meaning of the JDO Wimpel with the ship?

I think your idea that it's JungDO Marine is correct. This Wimpel went for a very modest 51 Euros, if I'm not mistaken. A full banner with the black trifoil cross on white complete with pole and top went for a little over 300 Euros; another cheap price for an item for one of the lesser-known Wehrband.

I'm still looking for a photo evidence. I have seen many JDO photos and books. Until today I had no luck. But I do not give up. In my opinion JDO pieces with the ship are not very common.
