Bavaria Freikorps Armband?

What do you think about this armband? I've never seen one "opened"; is this type of construction typical of the freikorps era?
It measures 34 x 11

This isn't to say that it isn't legit, but I don't recall ever seeing this on a Freikorps piece.

I've seen these 'hooks and eyes' used (presumably cottage-industry style) on 1920s medal mounts, so they could be OK here.

Just saw this thread, you might be surprised to hear what this is. It's a 1st war British or Canadian Signaler's armband worn on the right sleeve of the tunic. I have examples of other CEF armbands in my own collection and the hook & eye are consistent with these. Its worn with white on top. Tony
