                  Agreed Serge! I cant see if yours is marked or not but the design looks like a nice Meybauer product to me but somewhat different than the enamelled 1st Class Meybauer I have

                    I saw this old comment on this resurrected thread and thought I would correct it, as it's basically not true.

                    While the "O Slask" Eagle is not related directly to the German Silesian Eagle, it is related to Silesian campaigns from the Polish side and as such is a Polish award for service in Silesia and not a regimental badge.

                    It was created in 1921 and awarded to Polish veterans of the 3 Polish Uprisings through the GKPGS (The Central Committee for the Liberation of Silesia).

                    Genuine ones are quite rare.
