V Armeekorps

On the soldier with the iron cross you can see the V Armeekorps badge (letter 'V' in a wreath). The fellow to the left also has it.

Concur with Tony...it does appear to be the badge of the V.Armeekorps, also sometimes known as Grenzshutz Ost (this name is also inscribed on the badge, but a little hard to see in Tony's scan). Not sure about the collar devices though...I'm not aware that the V.Korps had one (?)

Can we assume that the EK II belongs to one of the guys in the photo?
