Silesian Eagle 1st Class Max Reich, Breslau

    Hello!
Quite by chance I acquired such a 1st class badge.
In the book of Konstantin Nikolaev, such a badge is shown - an option with 7 feathers on the wings.

I have a one piece EK1 with this same reverse set up. It has been a bit of an enigma to me till now.

Hi Don. This hardware setup was quite a common one in the 1920s. I've seen it on pieces by Beco, Fleck u. Sohn in Hamburg and Müller in Bremen among others.

I agree Brian. I would like to put a maker to this cross but that has eluded me so far.

                Hello!
The books of Konstantin Nikolaev (39 pieces published) show many varieties of various awards, including the fastening of the Iron Crosses.
Konstantin has health problems, so he gives everyone interested his books in electronic form at a small contract price.
The Russian forum has a topic with its email address and a list of all books.
There, in his section, there are photographs of some pages of almost all of his books.
