    Subdued NVA General Visor

I was asked about this visor, and it looks good to me, however, I only dabble in DDR visors.

Curious as to what others think:

Looks like it's a original one. No red flags that I can see.

      Tony, thanks for the input.

Being sold separately is the matching tunic:

WOW!!!, the visor is now just short of 1,500 USD, with just seven hours left on the auction.

Real enough hat, shame the sweat shield is missing. I remember many years ago seeing a few of these mainly dated 1968ish, at the time that date conflicted with what was thought to be the usage dates for these hats, which were thought to have gone out of service some years earlier... which was not true!!!. I wonder if this is one of the 68 dated ones that has had the sweat shield removed deliberately some years ago to get around the date issue? as the hat does not seem used?
either way nice hat .... but god god one hell of a price!!!

Tunic. well, private purchase officer tunic with generals badges.. impossible to prove, highly probably made up. worth the value as a sum of parts, less than a third of what it went for.

I would say the analysis of the tunic would apply to all generals Dark collar service tunics unless solid provenance could be proven.
