NVA Stamps

A similar thread was started a couple months ago back on the Communist Bloc forum concerning commie stamps but we didn’t see a lot of DDR Stamps. So I took a look on eBay for DDR stamps because I thought there had to be some philatelist in East Germany. Well I came across these Stamp honoring the NVA and thought they were pretty interesting so I picked them up for a couple of pounds plus shipping. Does anyone else have any DDR stamps?

Hi John,

Your NVA stamps are really nice. I am always on the lookout for Anniversary Covers for the different military branches of the NVA. A while back I posted some pics of a Grenztruppen and of an NVA anniversary cover with matching anniversary stamps. I also recently posted a signed Cover with stamps relevant East Germany's first and only Cosmonaut, Sigmund Juend. That little gem might eventually prove to be my favorite item in my collection.

Hopefully, this thread will see some activity and some more examples.

The ones you posted are the first of that type I've seen.

Hey John your stamps are very neat and interesting. What I like about your stamps you posted is that you have one from each of the branches and I am wondering if the stamps are early issue since each stamp is showing some vintage equipment.
