I do find some strange items when i buy a box of junk, these appear to be instructional films on how to survive a nuclear war, very similar to the type we Brits were shown in the 70's. Some of these would make great posters if they were blown up Anyway i was wondering if theres much interest in this type of gear.

Thanks for your thread. Not sure of the interest only from the stand point that something like this does not show up on the forum. Great addition to your collection.Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did. I like to respond to your latest question about a fair price related to the film. However, it is hard to give you a fair price.
Have you done any research on the internet related to the academic community that are involved with Cold War projects? They may have an interest depending what is shown on the film. And I think it also makes it difficult for the collecting community to respond back to your thread not knowing what the films depict.
Again for me personally, I find what you have interesting, however your film may have more of an interests with the academic community.Somebody, after all, had to make a start. These Rolls contain Dia Slide Pics and were used at Schools, Factories and other Places to teach People how to act and react in different Cases.
For every Case/Film is also a small Booklet with the Text, the "Teacher" has to read to tell the People about what they see.
Somewhere I lso use to have a Box of these things, but where?
