Hello gents, here's a girl's pionier uniform I've recently completed with skirt and belt. Skirt and belt are unworn with maker labels. There's a lot of autographs on the scarf, other pionier members I guess ?

Hi Bobfender. Nice set.
Pioneer uniforms are quite hard to come by, from what I can gather the uniform rules weren't as strict as HJ and BDM so is seems as long as you had a red scarf and white shirt it was ok. There are a lot less photos of them around to compare with too, which doesn't help.
I thought I had a correct TP belt but having seen your one I think what I actually have is a soviet pioneer belt. I never seen another one like yours. -
Hello gentlemen, I have a few questions please.
About a JUnge Pioniere (the grade below Thälmann pioniere, for younger kids), I know we have a blue scarf (HOnecker introduced the blue/red scarfes in 1973).
But what are the distinctions and badges specifics to Junge Pioniere?
Do you know a source or a book about that?
Here are some badges, most are intended for the older TP, but which one are only for JP?

we must first use the correct names.
The name of the organization is Pionierorganisation "Ernst Thälmann" (JP) = "Junge Pioniere", or only "Pioniere"
It is divided in two parts, "Jungpioniere" and "Thälmann-Pioniere"
Jungpioniere 6 - 9/10 years, 1. - 3. school class, blue scarfs
Thälmannpioniere 9/10 - 13/14 years, 4. - 7./8. school class, blue/red scarfs
On your pictures we see badges, that do not belong to the Pionierorganisation, a sports badge and 6 badges of the FDJ.
The nine large badges are membership badges of different interest groops (Interessengemeinschaften), in different versions:
- Junge Techniker (2 pieces),
- Junge Künstler (2 pieces),
- Junge Agitatoren (3 pieces),
- Junge Timurhelfer,
- Junge Naturforscher.
The badge with the large JP is the membership badge.
The badge with the snowman is a winter sports badge for Jungpioniere.
The three badges with Thälmann are Thälmannabzeichen.
The badge with the Sputnik is the proficiency badge for Jung-Pioniere (be prepared). There is a similar badge in changed colours for Thälmann-Pioniere (always ready).
The red star is for Jung-Pioniere.
The three badges with the red book are badges for good work at school.
The two badges with the yellow book are Pionier badges "For good knowledge".

Hello, first of all - thank you for these infos!
I do have the Bartel book - it is an excellent and massive reference, but it doesn't details the attribution rules. And there were huge quantities of diverse badges.
I must apologize because my photo is messy. I updated it.
So you confirm the 3 little blue flags with Thälmann are only for the TP?
I'm unsure to have well understood yours explanations...
The nine Interessengemeinschaften badges were specificaly dedicated to the JP? TP? Both?
Same question about the school badges : "good work at school" and "good knowledge"?
(I found the red star iss for TP, and there was a blue one for JP)

Hi,
if there is not explicit written "Jungpioniere", "Jung-Pioniere" or "Thälmann-Pioniere", it is for the complete organization.
See for example in my first link, the explanation for the "Thälmannabzeichen" is for the complete Pionierorganisation „Ernst Thälmann“.
I should correct myself, the red star could be for the complete organization. I never saw a blue star like the red star.
The sports badge is for children.
