    Dagger Serial Number Census

I'm starting this to be a sort of census of everyone's daggers and serial numbers. I'm wondering how high of a correlation there is between serial number and date, along with other features such as pearlescent vs. solid grip, maker's mark, etc.

Please post your dagger serial numbers and date if there's a certificate, and also the features such as maker's mark or not, pearlescent vs solid grip , etc.

    I'll start with mine.

Thanks everyone for your responses. Hopefully we'll get a few more.

I'll tabulate the serial numbers and features like grip color, maker's mark, etc. and see what kind of correlation there might be.

I was going through some inventory looking for something unrelated, when I came upon another EG Parade Dagger in my collection. This brings my parade dagger count to eight. This one is old and the handle is of a translucent marbled yellow seamless material. More interesting is the belt hanger, which is a three hole model, is of an AF Corn-blue color. Can't believe I forgot about this one, as I've had conversations in the distant past with Dave H. about it. There is some thought the AF may have actually very early on, had corn-blue belts and dagger belt holders. I know years back I was outbid for a very early AF general's guilt parade belt that instead of the gray background, had the corn-blue background. So, perhaps the very early field grade officers belts were that way too. Don't know.

Anyway, I digress ..... here are the specs:

                            Field Grade NVA:
No box; SN: 64893; Makers Mark; Translucent yellow marbled handle.
Three hole hanger - bluish in color; No certificate.

mention is made that early LSK/ LV had a lightblue background in the KEUBKE / KUNZ book .
