A lot of money for a fake / fantasy Polizei Flag

Hello

Yesterday a fake / fantasy Polizei Flag was sold on Ebay for 560,- euros .
This flag and top are 100% fake , it's a fantasy piece .
I saw this flag or a similar flag a few years ago in Germany at a dealers house , the construction of these flags is so bad , that it's hard to believe that someone buy this crap .
The flag was bought by a well known flag collector from Germany , maybe a collector who wants all the flags , even the fake ones ?
There are lot's of fake flags at the moment , so be careful !

Interesting flag, as IMO the 560 euro sale price
is likely near what it may have cost to do the nice
chain stitch lettering and leaf embroidery work.
Background green material appears not to be DDR
period in sheen, and the Police star center looks to
be printed, & lettering disc coloring is a red flag.

Yes , the Top is also a fake , it is very poorly made from cast aluminum , very easy to make with sand casting ( the upper side / Staatswappen ) the base from the Top is a standard modern one .
