Today I purchased my first award with an Urkunde. There was a Freiwillige Helfer der GT badge with its award Urkunde that was posted on e-bay today. I went ahead and used the Buy It Now function because I was afraid it wasn't going to stick around for the whole week if I just tried to bid on it. I don't see the FHG badges too often, and I've never seen the Urkunde for one so I couldn't pass this one up. What a shame that the badge appears to have multiple cracks in the enamel. I guess I will have to try and find a good one in the future! How common are the FHG Urkunde's and is $33 a good price considering the damaged badge? I just bought this FHG badge and Urkunde as well as a 1978 edition Handbuch fur den Grenzdienst that had a surprise GT Waffenkarte thrown in as well as a 1990 style GT reservist badge. I hope the rest of 2013 is as lucky for me!

CONGRATS on your new document purchase. from what I can see the document had not yet been awarded to an individual. However it is a good piece to have in a collection.Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did.
