Hi Ralph,
Nice examples of the type issued between 1967 - 1973. In 73 they switched to a bronze buntmetal basically the same as for the hangars that are attached to your examples.
Question: Do you by chance have an example of the small stick pin that accompanied each award when issued? The early type stick pin also differed from the one issued in 73. An example I think would be nice for all to see.Michael D. GALLAGHER

Hey Mike...good day to you and thanks...to answer your question...I'm not worthy...I don't have the stick pin versions of the wings in my collection...Somebody, after all, had to make a start. For comparison purposes, here is an example of the type issued in 73, with stick pin.
The stick pin for the 67 - 73 type, like the full size version Ralph posted above, was silver gray in color, instead of bronze, as are these examples.Attached FilesMichael D. GALLAGHER
