    Seals

I thought it might be a nice Idea to start a Thread about Seals of all kind.
Soft Wax, Hard Wax, Stamps, imprinted Seals etc. I guess a lot of Members have interesting ones available.
today I start with a Box of Soft Wax packages

Nico - Interesting to see the box of wax. Is the box of wax you are showing still soft?
Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did. Quote - Sophie Scholl - White Rose resistance group

      I would say Yes.
You allway's had to knead it to get it a bit softer before pressing in the Seal.
Can't find the Pic of the Sealing Cord in the Moment, maybe somebody put it on File when I posted it a while ago.

Found a Roll of Sealing Cord and take a Pic tomorrow, also of my MfS Sealing Plier. A Bag of Seals still has to be found somewhere.
Today I show a nice "Trockensiegel" of Department 8 of the Ministry of Foreign Economy.
My Uncle, who worked there, told me that this belonged to the KoKo of Schalck-Golodkowski.

From Wiki: Main task was to obtain foreign currency by all legal and illegal means, over the capabilities of the normal foreign trade.

And thanks to Ralph a comparison of a couple of my NVA seals next to Ralph's MfS (Stasi) seals. I have about a dozen NVA seals now.

              Kevin,
that's the Stuff from my first Pic's, just in another colour. I know Brick Red, a kind of green, blueish, a very dark grey - nearly black, a kind of yello/orange and grey.
If I don't forget, I look for other Colours in my Storage. I still have lot's of file Cabinets, I use for Tools and Material in my Carpenter Storage who still have their Seals mounted. One was funny, as they used a plastic Bottle Screw Cap as a Wax Holder. I also must have some unused Aluminium Cups used for Sealing.
Your Briefcase looks like the Standard one used for all Official Departments, for sure also for Calssified Info for Generals from and to the Staff.
I know these Briefcases in brown and black, somewhere I have brown ones left.
What I cant see on the Pic, is it the one with, or without Handle on top. I guess the one without. Let's find mine for a comparing Pic.

Nico, it's without a handle, made of leather and is so well used that some of the lining is worn through. It's named to an NVA Generalmajor.
