Is there a specific DDR site where we can buy and sell items?

Does someone know a website where we can buy and sell DDR items from eachother?

In a E-stand way, but then specific DDR minded? (so no EBAY )

I think it can give us as DDR collectors a nice 'collection boost'.

Overhere on the WAF we have unfortunately a collectors minority to arrange a specific E-stand section for DDR material.

    Please share your suggestions.

The DDR Militaria Forum and Trader on the Gunboards forum at: http://forums.gunboards.com/forumdis...rum-And-Trader

It allows buying, selling and trading of DDR items. For several years it was a great place to find stuff, but most folks have migrated over to the WAF forum so the Gunboards forum has been a bit of a a ghost town for 3-4 years now.

Nico, Here it is! It's a sticker I picked up years ago when I was stationed in West Berlin.

There are of course a couple of sites, where you can buy DDR items, including my own and Nico's, but none that I am aware of where you can also sell them apart from the commercial auction sites.

However, I do offer an option, where you could sell items on commission through my site here http://www.germandotmilitaria.com/en...er=Other+Items this is not ebay of course and probably only really works with higher value items, but it is an option, other than the auction sites.

I have been thinking about introducing a collector-to-collector classified ads section on my website for a couple of months now ... would something like that be of interest to you?

          Cheers, Torsten.

While I am typing this I am looking at my dagger-shaped letter opener, which I got off of eBay. It is actually sharper, though still blunt, than my DDR officer's parade dagger.

(DDR) Ehrendolche are forbidden on eBay. Sharper, dagger-shaped letter openers are not.

I bought my dagger on egun.de

All sorts of stuff for sale there. Bit primitive, like a Geocities-era eBay, but worth a look.

Hi Torsten! If you could put up a Collector Classified section on your Board that would be great!

              Thank's

                I always thought....

eBay.de was a pretty good place to get the hard to find stuff...
I did a lot of book buying there... As well as pile of insignia... Uniforms
Even a radio (which came without an antenna)
"hey S.Stephan you forgot the antenna"
It came in a separate packet

Dave, Was that back in the good old days before postage from Germany cost an arm and a leg?

Postage from Europe got expansive once the dollor tanked. eBay.de is a great site to get some rarer items that is very hard to find here in the States. Visa must have bought a new office when I ordered my NVA 10th Ann. pins and early series qualispangen.
