    Off beat question today. Did the DDR ever make it's own version of the Swiss Army Knife??

    That I can't tell you, but it's interesting you used the initials SAK in your title. In the NVA the SAK stood for Spezialaufklärungs-Kompanien or Special Reconnaissance Companies.

        there were some civilian folding utility knives made in the DDR. None to look exactly like the Swiss Army Knives, but there were certainly quite a variety of different complexity utility knives. There were none specifically made for the Army or other armed services. Cheers, Torsten.
