Hah,

Thank you so much Marcus. Now I can put my Webster's Dictionary away.

That pretty much sums up David and his "Collecting Tank" as the Europeans are so fond of referring to this hobby thing.

            thanks Lee!

I wish I had kept the one with the papers; it was a superb set.

Clearly the second Polizei Standard without papers has to be relegated to the deep six. I hereby volunteer my services for the purpose of seeing to the decomissioning of this one particular flag, to a location of my choosing - namely my area of operations (smile).

Very nice. You guys and your regimental flags.

I'm so glad you have them, and so glad you are willing to share.
Nice to see you have the Fahnen Spitz for each flag.

One question. Where the heck was Jessen? This one escapes me.....

Thanks for the geography lesson. Now I know where Jessen is. First time I ever heard of it.

Yes, it would have been nice to get the presentation papers with the
VOPO HERZBERG flag too, but I am well satisfied with same being that it is still intact on the original pole! By the way the DDR VOPO flag pole is the exact same size as the Nazi SS (strumbannfahne) numbered battlion flag pole also in my flag collection!
