    Flecktarn hoodless Jacket

    Hello

would like to show you a NVA Camo Jacket I just got in.

Its the later hoodless jacket but with some little changes..as it has some "fieldmade" side pockets.
Its not a professional tailoring job but I wonder when the pockets were made..after army service or during army service?..more probably after service..

    stamp should read II/65
    Manufactory no. is: 1802

I'm no expert on uniforms. But the side pockets appear to be a modification of the uniform that was done by someone after it left the factory.

It was common to use old Uniform's to convert them into civy Clothing. I saw that especially with outsourced Stuff from the GST, who used the FLecktarn a long time after the NVA phased them out. Some years ago I showed a Converted Jacket, with added Camo Shoulder Boards etc.
