What nonlethal weaponry (if any) did VolksPolizei have?

I have been wondering if the VolksPolizei possessed any nonlethal weaponry like beanbag shotguns,tazers,etc. I know they had Schlagstock but those are psudo nonlethal because they too can be deadly.

Beanbag Shotgun? How do you shoot them from AK's, Makarows, Scorpion or other Gun's. I never heard of these. They used telescopic and fixed Batons in "normal"Riot's or after some Football Games, or for a National emergency the Real ones. Tasers, haha, they didn't had the money for them and don't forget when the Tasers were introduced in the West. Not 25 Years ago.
So there was nothing of the "Modern" Stuff in the DDR.

Reason I was curious about that was in the 1970's-1980's China police got these electrifed clubs..While not lethal they could paralyze you I think

And Poland MILICJA had these long black and some white colored hard rubber clubs so I had figured maybe DDR had some form of non lethal things besides just teargas bombs.

The DDR, also had the long black batons and they also used the Electrified Clubs, but only on the Cattle Farms / Production Plants, but because of the high Import Taxes, they didn't bought loads of them from China.
