    Drillich?

I found this tunic on sale, and I'm wondering if this is a Drillich Uniform of the Airforce/Armyand if so, how much it would be worth, and where I could get trousers/insignia for it...

The Y straps seem to be Bundeswehr

    Thank you!

At first, what's the size (Value) and single trousers are hard to find. I sell them only as a Set with the Tunic.

An ex NVA told me 20 Years ago that only Staff Members, like the Staff Drivers or Messengers used Collars on them, otherwise only shoulderboards.
I have several 44's in stock, larger I can check after the Kassel Show.

          Genossen,
Is this not the little used Sommer Dienstuniform rather than drillich?.

For some unknown reason they all went under the name of Drillichuniform even though this means many variations of cloth and tailoring. But you are right It is interesting to notice how only small sizes are ever available (44s and 48s). I don't quite recall ever seeing a 52 in this later more Dederony material.

20 Years ago I had them up to size 60, but I think it was used not very often.
Drillich is used for the lighter Style of Uniform, the older ones with the heavy fabric and the later with the lighter fabric.
The old style was a Best- Seller to the US. I think they used most of them for Reenactment. I also had lot's of Prisoners Uniforms with the long green Stripe for Schwedt. After Kassel I can take a Pic. I think I have 1 or 2 of them left.

A tale of woe ... nazified sold as Afrika Korps substitutes betraying their true progressive nature . My heart bleeds for all these uniforms that now lie at the bottom of a pile of unwanted militaria, whilst their owners have "progressed" to VERY expensive fascist reproductions

                  Genosse iannima,
There is not Ammunition enough to pay for that crime.... a pity to waste such Historical Artefacts.

Pardon my interruption, but how much would a jacket of that size fetch by itself?

Now I can spend the people's budget more wisely... every pfennig counts for the State!
