Never saw this Style in the DDR, mabe Russian Made as they used this Material and later fitted with the Buttons or so. The DDR had green Plastic Material Pouches and lots of different shades of Cotton duck from grey to green. Do you have detail pics of the Pouch?

Well I don't have any other pictures or any details about it because it's for sale and the person selling this pouch hasn't answered yet.

        Thanks for your opinions!

Hard to tell without details. Several Commie Countries used that Material, but in the GDR, I only know it from Imported Soviet Stuff, mostly in Stasi Lots.

            Genossen,
Pouches and Holsters made of this Brown Vinyl material normally turns up as Vehicle mounted carrying complexes for flare guns and Grenades.

What kind of grenades would they have carried?

              Thanks

                Genosse,
Soviet Model Grenades, of the ( purely) Defensive kind, the F1 is useful to clear away Infantry due to its krazy bonkers fragmentation effect makes it only safe to use from cover, but RG 42 and RDG 5 Complexes will fit.
