Murphy's Oil Soap on jackboots?

Hi all,

As we know, Halloween is right around the corner, and that means the collection is going to have to be in tip top shape for deployment!

I was just wondering if Murphy's Oil Soap would be appropriate for polishing up some common EM jackboots?

I just went to Wal Mart and bought a can of Kiwi Boot Cleaner, it worked wonders cleaning the dirt and dander from my jackboots. Also did a good job in restoring the color and effect of the boots. Id recommend it.
